Marriage

Hello, my name is Brandy,

Christ follower, wife, and Mother Of two wonderful daughters. I am a homeschooling mom and our family lives on a small farm. I like to cook, big and do canning. But I love being outside and gardening. I’m so blessed in so many ways.

Ecclesiastes for 10 “ your marriage is powerful in the Lord because two are better than one you can lift each other when one feels weak”.  Marriage isn’t always perfect and it isn’t a fairy tale or storybook.  My husband  and I will be married for 18 years this year. Things did not always go right, the road seemed to go uphill a lot. Sometimes you want to smile but all you can do is sigh. You learn that overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and Never Letting Go is a choice and it is well worth the fight.

God created two different people and he is molding and shaping us to become one for his purpose. he will not allow us to stay in one place. we are the clay in The Potter’s hand.

 Isaiah 64 8  ” oh Lord you are our father we are the clay, you are the potter, we are all the work of your hand.” There were times that have been more painful than I want to admit. and we have not always listened to the Lord’s leading. but you have to get back up and try again. We are very far from perfect but God’s teaching us as we go. We are learning and realizing without submitting to God we cannot love one another with the heart of Christ.

 Ephesians 4:2-3 “ be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of Peace”

 Dear lord,

 help us to trust in your plan for our lives help us to trade our understanding for yours. I know I can’t do this alone I need your help I need your power and Grace I need you to lead us in wisdom and safety.
