Our Values
We are real!
But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. (James 2:18)
We put people first – not some of the time – all of the time!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)
We think outside the box!
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:15-17)
We’re a grace place! (I am not finished.)
And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. (John 1:6)
We build community!
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. (Hebrews 10:25)
We have fun while it’s being done!
Our mouths were filled with laughter; our tongues were spilling over into song. The word went out across the prairies and deserts, across the hills, over the oceans wide, from nation to nation: “God has done remarkable things for them.” (Psalms 126:2)
Healthy things grow!
Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. (Eph. 4:13-15)
We honor up, we honor down, we honor all around!
Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king” (1 Peter 2:17).
We are an ALL IN kind of people!
We value passion – and passion is contagious! We want to be a people who are radiant with God’s love and light!
Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence. This is the most important, the first on any list.”(Matthew 22:37 MSG)
