ADOPT A SCHOLAR
This year Havre de Grace Elementary School has a program to “Adopt a Scholar” for school supplies for the beginning of this school year to help offset the cost of school supplies for families with limited income. For each scholar that is adopted, they will receive a bookbag filled with school supplies for their grade level. In addition, you can add notes of encouragement for the upcoming school year.1. If you are interested in adopting a scholar, please click on the button below to select the age, gender and number of scholars you would like to adopt. You will then be given more information as to the supplies needed for that scholar. You can look at the supply list to get an idea of what would be needed.All items would need to be dropped off during the 9AM or 11AM service you attend on Sunday, August 22. (Cost around $80/child)2. You can make a donation in any amount to “Outreach” and that money will go towards school supplies.
